Soccer legend David Beckham is reportedly in talks with the mega-streaming service company to develop a biographical film.

The Sun reports that Beckham was inspired by the Netflix docu-series The Last Dance, which was about another sports legend, Michael Jordan.

Beckham's TV firm Studio 99, launched last year, has approached Amazon and Netflix about the biopic.

"It’s something David is excited about and has wanted to do for a while. The film will feature new content and archive footage. It’s going to be about David’s life post-football, especially the creation of his new team in Miami, but will have some personal content too.'

"Interest in his life and family is huge. Everyone has high hopes for this," an insider told The Sun.

Most recently, the Beckham family has spent most of their time at their home in the Cotswolds, per lockdown regulations but, recently they went to Puglia, Italy for a family holiday joined by Beckham's eldest son, Brooklyn's new fiance Nicola Peltz.
