Security presence at the Senekal ahead of EFF, AfriForum clash

There is reported police presence of officers from Bloemfontein, Bethlehem, Selosesha in Thaba Nchu, and from as far as Gauteng in Senekal ahead of the appearance of the two suspects in the murder of a 21-year-old farm manager.

With AfriForum and EFF schedule to stand outside the court, police will not allow any march or protest.

The suspects’ last court appearance turned violent after a group of farmers stormed the court demanding the two be handed to them.

The mob of farmers also burnt a police vehicle and fired shots inside the courthouse.
