Court ruled that the Bushiris have forfeited their property which was tied to their bail to the state

The Bushiris' failed to appear at their court hearing which was scheduled for Thursday, as result they could lose their centurion property worth R5.5 million to the state.

The property was tied to their bail conditions.

There are still questions on how the couples managed to leave the country. They are currently in Malawi where they have handed themselves into Police.

Shepard Bushiri said he left the country cause he had fear of his life. He claims there have been two attempts on his life which Police did not attend to.

The couple's legal team in South Africa said they were not informed of their movements and only know what they have seen in the media.
